우편법 제39조(책임 원인의 제한)
Postal Services Act, Article 39 (Limitation of Causes of Liability)
정부는 우편물의 손해가 발송인 또는 수취인의 잘못으로 인한 것이거나 해당 우편물의 성질, 결함 또는 불가항력으로 인하여 발생한 경우에는 제38조에도 불구하고 그 손해를 배상하지 아니한다.
The Government shall not compensate for damage to a mail item, notwithstanding Article 38, where the damage was caused by the fault of the sender or recipient or by the nature or defect of the mail item or force majeure.
