5ㆍ18민주화운동 등에 관한 특별법 제1조의2(정의)

① 이 법에서 "5ㆍ18민주화운동"이란 1979년 12월 12일과 1980년 5월 18일을 전후하여 발생한 헌정질서 파괴범죄와 반인도적 범죄에 대항하여 시민들이 전개한 민주화운동을 말한다.

② 이 법에서 "반인도적 범죄"란 제1항에 따른 기간 동안 국가 또는 단체ㆍ기관(이에 속한 사람을 포함한다)의 민간인에 대한 살해, 상해, 감금, 고문, 강간, 강제추행, 폭행을 말한다.
