공무원보수규정 제56조(승격 또는 하위 직무등급 직위 임용 시 연봉 책정 등)

① 4등급 이하의 직위에 임용된 외무공무원이 5등급 이상의 직위로 승격한 경우에는 제37조제1항을 준용하여 연봉을 책정한다. 이 경우 "승진"은 "승격"으로 본다. <개정 2016.1.8, 2017.1.6>

② 5등급 이상의 직위에 임용된 외무공무원이 승격하는 경우에는 별표 37에 따른 금액(관리업무수당에 해당하는 금액을 포함한다)을 임용직위의 직무등급의 연봉상한액 범위에서 연봉에 가산한다. 다만, 2개 등급 이상의 상위직위로 승격하는 경우에는 각 상위등급에 순차적으로 임용된 것으로 보아 연봉을 산정한다. <개정 2016.1.8, 2017.1.6>

③ 6등급 이상의 직위에 임용된 외무공무원이 5등급 이상의 하위등급 직위에 임용(강등의 경우는 제외한다)되는 경우에는 임용직전의 연봉을 임용되는 직무등급에서의 연봉(6등급 공무원에서 강임되는 경우에는 관리업무수당에 해당하는 금액을 제외한다)으로 하되, 임용 직전의 연봉이 임용되는 직무등급의 연봉상한액을 초과하는 경우에는 초과하는 연도까지는 임용직전의 연봉을 지급한다. <개정 2016.1.8, 2017.1.6>

⑤ 6등급 이상의 직위에 임용된 외무공무원이 강등되는 경우에는 제2항에 따라 가산된 금액(관리업무수당에 해당하는 금액을 포함한다)을 감액하여 연봉을 지급한다. 다만, 14등급 외무공무원이 고위공무원단 직위로 강등되는 경우 기준급은 제65조의 방법에 따라 책정한다. <개정 2017.1.6>

⑥ 제5항에 따라 강등된 공무원에게 지급되는 연봉은 강등된 등급에서의 연봉한계액의 상한액을 초과할 수 없다.
