전남광주통합특별시 설치를 위한 특별법 제118조(대도시권 광역교통 개선사업에 관한 특례)

① 「대도시권 광역교통 관리에 관한 특별법」 제2조제2호가목 및 나목에도 불구하고 같은 호 가목에 따른 광역도로의 범위에는 종전의 전라남도와 광주광역시에 걸치는 도로가, 같은 호 나목에 따른 광역철도의 범위에는 종전의 전라남도와 광주광역시에 걸쳐 운행되는 도시철도 및 철도가 각각 포함되는 것으로 본다.

② 국토교통부장관은 통합특별시에 대해서는 제1항에 따라 대도시권 광역교통기본계획 및 광역교통시행계획을 수립하고, 통합에 따른 불이익이 없도록 「대도시권 광역교통 관리에 관한 특별법」 제10조제1항에 따라 국가가 지원할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 재정지원은 같은 법 제10조제2항에 따라 국가가 부담할 수 있다.

③ 국가는 통합특별시의 조기 안착을 위하여 광역교통시설(광역철도는 제외한다)의 운영 과정에서 발생하는 비용을 부담할 수 있다.

④ 제1항부터 제3항까지는 이 법 시행 당시 관계 법령에 따라 시행 절차가 진행 중인 광역교통시설의 건설ㆍ개량 사업에 대하여도 적용한다.
