장사 등에 관한 법률 시행령 제8조(자연장의 방법과 용기 기준)

가. 지면으로부터 30센티미터 이상의 깊이에 골분을 묻되, 용기를 사용하지 않는 경우에는 흙과 섞어서 묻어야 한다.

나. 골분, 흙, 용기만을 묻을 수 있고, 그 밖의 유품(遺品) 등을 함께 묻어서는 안 된다.

가. 제2조제1호에 따른 구역에 뿌리는 경우에는 육지의 해안선으로부터 5킬로미터 이상 떨어진 곳에서 골분이 흩날리지 않도록 수면 가까이 뿌려야 하고, 다른 선박의 항행ㆍ어업행위, 수산동식물의 양식 등을 방해하지 않아야 한다. 이 경우 골분, 생화(生花)만을 뿌릴 수 있고, 그 밖의 용기ㆍ유품 등을 해양으로 배출해서는 안 된다.

나. 제2조제2호에 따른 구역에 뿌리는 경우에는 골분이 흩날리지 않도록 해야 한다. 이 경우 골분을 뿌릴 수 있는 시설이 없는 장소에 뿌리는 경우에는 골분을 뿌린 후 잔디를 덮거나, 골분을 깨끗한 흙과 함께 섞어 뿌린 후 지면에 흡수될 수 있도록 충분한 물을 뿌려야 한다.
